Each MRO office has its own procedures for processing Non-DOT results. InOut Labs utilizes a couple different MRO offices. i3 Screen is our primary, and this is how they work.
The i3screen Medical Review Team processes non-negative results at an average rate of less than 72 hours. On occasion, adverse events may delay the processing of a result beyond the 72-hour turnaround time. The standard protocol for pre-employment tests where we are unable to reach the donor after 24 hours, or there is no donor contact information, is to report the result as Non-Contact Positive. For all other reasons for testing (Random, Post-Accident, etc.), we will reach out to the DER for assistance in reaching the donor for the interview. (rev. 10/23/24)
